Meet Ellen – a volunteer door greeter at the Florence ReStore! Ellen began volunteering with the Habitat for Humanity ReStore a few months ago and quickly became a valued member of the team. In her role as a door greeter, Ellen welcomes every customer, helps keep the store clean and organized, and is always ready to lend a hand wherever she is needed. Now in its third year, the Real Estate Community Build unites professionals from every aspect of the real estate industry to raise funds, raise walls, and raise awareness for affordable housing. Habitat has submitted a request to the City of Cincinnati for funds from their carryover budget. This Tuesday, February 17, 2026, City Council is voting to approve the request during their budget meeting. These funds will be used to build Affordable Homeownership Opportunities in the City of Cincinnati.
