Collegiate Volunteers
Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, build your resume, make new friends, and give back to the community. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati is also happy to verify hours for students who are volunteering as part of an awarded scholarship.
Campus Chapters
A campus chapter is a group of students who are ready to lead the charge at their school to help fulfill Habitat’s mission.
Each campus chapter is a student-led, student-initiated organization on college campus that partners with the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. This includes regular volunteer opportunities and fundraising in your area to support housing opportunities, and more.
ReStore
One of the easiest ways to get involved is by volunteering at a ReStore. Our ReStores sell new and donated appliances, furniture, cabinets, building products, and households items. Volunteering in the ReStores include accepting donations, cleaning items, and helping customers.

Because of our many locations, there are always ReStore opportunities available! There are morning and afternoon shifts and we have locations in Bond Hill, Fairfield, Florence (KY), and Loveland.
Other Ways to Get Involved
Throughout the year, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati hosts several open build days and also requests volunteer support for various events and fundraisers. These opportunities are limited and are first come, first serve. We encourage those interested in these opportunities to create an account in Volunteer Hub. When opportunites like these arise, our network in Volunteer Hub are often the first to find out. You can also explore other ways to get involved here.
Start/Join A Campus Chapter
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati currently has one campus chapter at the University of Cincinnati and one coming soon to Mount St. Joseph University. Check your school's student organization portal to learn how to get involved.
