Habitat Young Professionals
“A United Network Passionate For Building Affordable Housing”
Habitat Young Professionals (HYP) of Greater Cincinnati is a dedicated network of emerging leaders united by a passion for creating affordable housing stability in the region. We mobilize our diverse talents through mission-critical volunteerism, fundraising, and advocacy to directly support the work of our local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. Committed to both community impact and personal growth, HYP provides opportunities for connection, leadership development, and driving tangible change toward a future where everyone has a safe and stable place to call home.
What We Do
While we have various professions and come from unique backgrounds, we hold fast to a singular purpose: to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission while simultaneously improving ourselves as professionals.
We provide this support for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati through community builds and service, fundraisers and advocacy. As a young professionals group, we focus on becoming more capable leaders through professional development activities with the aim to also expand into networking events.
Join Us
Habitat Young Professionals (HYP) strives to provide affordable housing to families in our community while cultivating a strong network of future leaders. 100% of HYP membership dues and money raised through fundraising activities will be used to fund member activities, including socials, fundraising events, volunteer days, and other member events, with the remaining funds supporting Habitat of Greater Cincinnati’s mission.
Membership Activities
Joining Habitat of Greater Cincinnati through an HYP membership signifies a commitment to our mission, whether through financial contributions or volunteer work.
Membership
HYP Greater Cincinnati has a “pay what you can” membership dues model. We suggest a $10 per month, but members may pay more or less at their own discretion. Dues may be paid on a monthly or annual basis.
Volunteering
Creating and preserving affordable housing for families in need is the cornerstone of Habitat of Greater Cincinnati’s mission. HYP gives members ample opportunities to participate in Habitat’s mission through monthly build days.
Fundraising
Each year, HYP hosts a number of special events and fundraisers to support the mission and work of Habitat of Greater Cincinnati.

At HYP, we’re passionate about making a tangible difference in our community. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or just looking to give back, HYP offers a unique opportunity to meet like-minded peers while helping families achieve the dream of homeownership.

How Can I Get Involved?
Roll up your sleeves and join us on-site as we construct safe, affordable homes for families in need, participate in or help organize fundraising events that support Habitat’s mission or use your voice to advocate for affordable housing and spread awareness about Habitat’s work in our community.

You can pay dues by clicking the link below to our donation page. If you are doing a recurring donation, select $10 and Monthly or $100 Annually. If you are a recent college graduate (in the past year) select $75 Annually. If you are doing a one-time donation, select either $75 or $100.
