Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati will have 20 homes available for purchase through the Affordable Homeownership Program starting Saturday, October 10, 2026. Applications can be downloaded at https://www.habitatcincinnati.org/buy-a-home and submitted by mail to the Habitat office.

Homes will be available in Cincinnati's West End, West College Hill, Hamilton, Bethel, Bond Hill, and Colerain Township. A variety of home models will be available ranging between 2-4 bedrooms. The homes in the West End will be a mix of attached and detached, single-family homes. The homes in the other five neighborhoods are all detached, single-family homes. Prospective homebuyers could be eligible if they earn under 80% of the Area Median Income (see below). Homes will be available for purchase with a 0% interest mortgage from Habitat. See the website for a full list of eligibility requirements.

“The Affordable Homeownership Program provides a pathway to homeownership and allows more people to experience the wide benefits of homeownership,” says Helen Spieler, Director of Homebuyer Services at Habitat. “You don’t know what’s possible until you take that first step and we encourage anyone interested to apply.”

The website is updated with any available build sites on the 10th day of the month. Habitat homebuyers invest in their future by working side by side with volunteers to build their own home and attend homeownership and financial education classes.

Habitat for Humanity is and Equal Housing Lender.
