Rock the Block offers a unique opportunity to support affordable homeownership, with a focus on communities where we’re building multiple homes. Each event is tailored to the specific needs of the community

Rock the Block is a multi-day event that brings volunteers together to build Habitat homes and complete exterior home improvement projects in neighborhoods where we are actively building. By concentrating efforts in specific areas, Habitat for Humanity creates a greater impact by strengthening neighborhoods, preserving affordable homeownership, and improving quality of life for residents.

Each day begins with a kick-off gathering featuring food and coffee, bringing together volunteers, sponsors, and community leaders before teams head to their assigned sites. Projects may include working on active home builds, painting, landscaping, minor exterior repairs, and general maintenance.

Rock the Block is a family-friendly event open to individuals of all skill levels, creating an inclusive and welcoming volunteer experience.
