First Global Village trip to Nepal.
After pausing Global Village trips due to the Covid-19 pandemic, HFHGC took their first Global Village trip to Nepal. 15 Habitat staff members spent the week building homes out of bamboo and learning about Nepal’s culture. Habitat’s next Global Village trip will be to Cambodia in late winter 2027. HFHGC also started taking trips domestically to serve at other Habitat affiliates in the U.S. and see how they do things. In 2025, we went to Asheville, NC and in 2026 we will go to Denver, CO.
