Donate Items to the ReStore

Current Health Protocols

All five area ReStores are open to the public with health and safety precautions in place. All shoppers and staff must wear a mask and maintain social distancing. The number of customers permitted at one time in the stores will be limited as per Department of Health guidelines. Additional cleaning protocols have been implemented. We ask that the first hour of business (9 – 10 am) be reserved for the elderly and those in high-risk health categories. Volunteers will not be working in the stores at this time.

Donations of gently new and used building materials, home goods, furniture, and working appliances will be during open store hours. You may call to schedule a pick up for large items that cannot be easily dropped off at a store location, or schedule online. We look forward to your continued support of Habitat for Humanity and hope that you will support us in keeping our ReStore operations safe for donors, customers, and employees. 

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati’s area ReStores accept new and used items that include appliances, furniture, cabinets, household items, and building products.

Your donations will be offered for sale to the public at our ReStores, providing crucial income to carry out Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope. Because we are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, we will give you a charitable gift receipt for the items you have donated.


We can only accept what there is a demand from our customers. Unfortunately, we cannot accept everything. Please click here to check the list to see whether your items can be donated or not, and call us if you have any questions!



Items can be dropped off at any ReStore location Monday – Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 4 pm. Drop-offs close an hour before the store closes. Dropping off items we cannot use and leaving items after hours increases our operating costs and creates an unsafe environment.

To schedule your donation through one of our Donation Coordinators, please call Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or Sat 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 513-721-GIVE (4483), option 2.  PLEASE BE PATIENT - the temporary closure of our stores means there will be a high demand for pick-up scheduling. If our schedulers are busy, please leave a message or try the donation link above.

Once you have scheduled a  pick-up, please note it on your calendar. On your pick-up day, our driver will call to let you know when he or she is on their way. A donation of $10 or more to offset delivery expenses and support the Habitat for Humanity mission is appreciated, but is not required. If you prefer, you may make a donation securely online here.

For the safest, most efficient pick-ups, please follow these guidelines:

  • Have all materials available on ground level (i.e. garage or driveway; if needed, ask a relative or neighbor to help you put it there)
  • Please mark all items “Habitat for Humanity ReStore”
  • We cannot accept hazardous materials and we are unable to haul away any trash
