Dear Council Member [last name],

I urge you to vote to approve funding Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati at $350,000 from the FY'25 Carryover Budget to help meet Cincinnati's urgent need for affordable housing and affordable homeownership in particular.

Habitat has built and sold over 700 homes in Greater Cincinnati giving hard working families the opportunity for stability, to build equity, and invest in their communities. Habitat is often the catalyst for future investment in neighborhoods, building stronger local economies.

Habitat builds high-quality modest 'starter homes' filling an urgent gap in our housing supply. At a time when too many families are priced out of homeownership, an investment in affordable homeownership is vital for Cincinnati.

Thank you for your support.
